So first off, you may sound like David Byrne going "Well, how did I get here?". Unlike Mr. Byrne, you'll get an answer. It totally dawned on me that I aside from the "Show Journal" blog, I don't really have a blog so the NEWS section has now become a blog! Hope you don't mind the change!

The months just seem to be flying by me faster and faster. Sometimes so fast that I miss a month. Hell, someone at work the other day made me aware to the fact that the calendar on my wall still said MARCH! Damn, talk about loosing time. Maybe I was abducted by UFO aliens. Anyways, it's been a crazy few months but I've been loving life.

The new CD "...said the firefly to the hurricane" is ready to go! I'm so excited. I hit a couple of brick walls having the artwork printed up but hopefully I will get that ironed out soon. Aside from that, it looks amazing and the CD itself goes out next week for duplication. I will be selling it at the shows and on the website for, you guessed it, FIVE BUCKS A POP! I'm REALLY excited about this CD and I really hope that everyone will find a little bit of themselves in it.

As for shows, there is ONE SHOW booked as of now! That is the CD release party which is on July 14th! I don't have much else lined up in the way of gigs as they seem to be hard to come by these days. Ahhh, the never ending saga of a man and his guitar just looking for a place to share his songs. Luckily, Geoff over at Pheasant Creek Coffee in Apex has been my biggest supporter yet so it's always nice to know I have a home!
